The Coaching Training of REFLECT and the Kalapa Leadership Academy

Mindfulness-Based Systemic Coach – The ideal additional qualification for executives, HR developers, consultants and trainers – starting in spring 2019

Are you thinking about whether a coaching training will help you to advance your career and personal development? Are you a manager, HR developer, organizational developer or trainer/consultant? In that case, in-service coaching training in the area of systemic coaching can offer you many important advantages, opportunities and impulses.

With the training as Mindfulness Based Systemic Coach© (MbsC), we at Reflect have created an innovative coaching training programme that starts exactly where we as a coach can help other people to realize their potential.

  • In our coaching training you will meet trainers who work as coaches in the business sector themselves, who are highly process-oriented and have a high level of experience.
  • You will receive comprehensive tools for daily coaching work, a well-founded theoretical basis (e. g. on the topics mindfulness and neurophysiology) and get to know innovative concepts for working as a coach.
  • You will develop a clear understanding of the tasks and starting points of coaching, which you will learn to use safely from a systemic point of view.
  • Within the scope of the training, a clear understanding of coaching is developed and a wide range of possibilities are offered to be able to coach in a meaningful and appropriate way. The development of one’s own coaching personality is therefore a central part of the training process.

Fundamentals and core aspects of our coaching approach

The basis of our coaching training is the systemic approach. The core aspects of our training are mindfulness-based methods and the development of  authenticity and presence.

  • The systemic approach examines the interactions within a context and how these interactions influence results, values, goals, relationships, etc.
  • Mindfulness training and related methods are practical means to train the mind and cultivate clarity.
  • Authenticity is an essential feature for coaches and managers. Mind, heart and body are in harmony.
  • Presence means being in the moment. Presence unfolds power, creativity and the many options that are available in the present moment. Presence requires openness and dealing with the uncertainty of the moment.

Coaching provides the framework in which people develop, goals are attainable and topics are clarified. In a volatile world, the development of people and their potential is essential – regardless of whether it is personal, entrepreneurial or social potential. The customer is the expert for his solutions, the coach the expert for the way there.

Coaching means taking responsibility for the framework in which the client moves. The coach provides the space – mental, emotional and temporal – for the development and target attainment of individuals and groups/teams in the corporate context. Coaching can be carried out in different settings on different topics:

  • organisational development
  • change processes
  • leadership and team development
  • as a single measure, independent of other framework processes

Your benefit

Our claim: With your coaching training we want to guarantee you a high quality and a strong customer orientation. In addition, we would like to give you a systemic attitude with the training as a systemic coach, from which you can confidently decide for yourself in daily use which interventions, control tools and other techniques you will use according to the situation. The theoretical foundation of the coaching training forms the framework in which the “movements” can be incorporated and assigned.

Through the ability of mindfulness and the resulting observer perspective, it is possible to continuously perceive and use one’s own resonances in the process.

After the coaching training you are familiar with:

  • different theoretical approaches (systemic, constructivist, hypnosystemic) and process design in coaching

  • latest findings from neuroscience and neuroleadership

  • methods and tools of systemic coaching

  • different applications of mindfulness training

  • diverse settings and target groups in which coaching can take place

  • your personal strengths and areas of development as a coach

  • different job specifications and a competent, solution-oriented navigation through the coaching processes

  • personal transformation processes, which can then be accompanied by clients as well

The building blocks

In the training, a bridge is built between the modules through learning webinars, homework, learning groups, teaching coaching and individual coaching as well as the testing of what has been learnt in the company practice.

Teaching module – attendance seminars

In the face-to-face modules, the focus is on practical testing through role-plays. Theoretical impulses are immediately experienced in practice and direct feedback enables regular learning loops to improve continuously. A test framework before the participants coach “live” in the corporate context or in their own consulting practice.

Learning in-between

Between the modules, prepared knowledge will ensure that the learning process is constantly continued and the theory, which is oriented towards practice, is deepened. For this purpose there is a platform with further articles, videos etc.

Learning Webinars

Theoretical concepts as well as mindfulness methods and above all neurophysiology are taught and deepened by professionals with practical relevance.

Study groups

Here the participants meet to practice, to supervise each other, to deepen the mindfulness exercise together.
These groups take place both as face-to-face and virtual meetings.

Teaching coachings

The participants present practical cases and projects that are discussed in a group context in order to integrate systemic knowledge more and more in their own field of work. These meetings are led by an instructor.

Individual Coaching

The development within the further education is reflected here and personal topics are worked on, which could be obstructive for the professional work. Questions about mindfulness practice also find their place here.

Conditions for certification

  • Learning groups: 40 hours, of which at least half are face-to-face meetings, the rest can also be done virtually.
  • Learning in-between: studying essays/literature and answering questions/casestudies/personal journaling
  • Final thesis – coaching process description
  • Final test in the group (theory and practice) / presentation of an individual coaching concept
  • Self-reflection at the end in writing
  • Individual coaching
  • At least 90% participation in the modules

The costs for further training amount to a total of € 8,990.- for companies and € 7,990.- for private payers, plus 19% VAT. They are made up as follows:
