The manager as a coach is becoming increasingly important. As a manager, personnel or organizational developer you would like to strengthen your competence portfolio by or in the area of coaching. Then this introductory workshop with a manageable time requirement of 1 ½ days is a good starting point. You will receive orientation and initial knowledge and skills.

Our coaching approach for executives combines the systemic perspective of coaching with mindfulness-based elements. Together, this results in a very solid basis on which you as a leader in coaching can act safely and purposefully.


The workshop classifies coaching as a competence and instrument in day-to-day management and in management tasks. The manager as a coach is the central perspective. The effectiveness of coaching is examined and differentiated from other interventions. Different coaching occasions are presented as well as the attitude of a coach.

In the workshop you will also learn your first coaching skills, a first hand tool that you can use right away.

Systemic knowledge and a systemic approach in coaching with a broad view and understanding of situations and interrelationships. Access to problems can be created, which then lead to new, often unexpected approaches to solutions.

The workshop will give you an initial systemic understanding.

Mindfulness is a consciously directed attention and strengthens presence, authenticity and openness to an undistorted perception of the situation. It is the basis for a differentiated perception of oneself and the client, as well as the space in which the coaching process unfolds.

After the workshop you will be familiar with the basics of mindfulness and will be able to train them independently.

After these first steps you will be better oriented on how you can use coaching as a manager. You are more familiar with the systemic perspective and the mindfulness-based approach.

Ingo Kallenbach
Ingo Kallenbach (certified pedagogue) is managing director and owner of the consulting firm Reflect GmbH & Co. KG. Following operational positions at international companies (Otto Group, Deutsche Bank), his main focus today is on developing the potential of organisations, teams and decision-makers. Against the background of a systemic approach, he and his team advise companies on issues of leadership, change management and strategic personnel development within the framework of building a healthy organisation.

Liane Stephan is Managing Director of Kalapa Leadership Academy and Systeamotion. As a systems engineer, her focus is on organisational consulting and development, team development, coaching and authentic executive development. Liane Stephan has been working as a trainer for coaches for many years.
