Healthy organisation

Our scientifically sound and field-tested concept of the healthy organisation (HO) shows, that companies which work in a healthy way are significantly more efficient in the long term than companies which are merely profit- or growth-oriented.

Companies are complex systems

The model of the HO is based on the organisation development triangle consisting of strategy, culture and structure, which makes up the cornerstones of each company. In order to better analyse and represent the systemic of companies, the dimensions relationships, employees and processes were integrated in the model. They bring life and processes to the company, influence its character and represent organisation-relevant factors in a realistic way. The six dimensions must be taken equally into consideration and be managed in a balanced way in order to holistically strengthen the total system.

Therefore, it is essential to think systemically when structuring your organisation; not in a linear-causal way, but circular as well as effect- and solution-oriented. Also true for the development of a healthy organisation: performance and health do not exclude each other. They rather synergetically reinforce each other. By means of systemic thinking and this understanding of performance and health, potentials can be identified and unfolded in all six company dimensions.

Leadership as the key

Leadership in fact represents an essential component in order to unfold the potentials of your employees and your company and to achieve exceptional performance. However, leadership in the healthy organisation no longer sees itself in the classic authoritative way; those responsible are rather service providers and context designers who support their employees in their individual potential unfolding. Executives in healthy organisations follow the priciples of balanced leadership. Thus, in their leadership behaviour they combine systemic thinking, an understanding for performance and health as well as potential unfolding at one's own, employee and executive level and in the six organisation dimensions. This is how balanced leadership promotes capable employees, relationships at eye level, a joint culture, agile processes, adaptive structures and a market- and resource-oriented strategy.
