EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE – Success factor in the 21st century


Emotional intelligence describes a whole range of skills and competences, such as compassion, communication skills, humanity and the like. It is about personal development, dealing with oneself, as well as the successful interaction with other people. Emotional intelligence is often referred to as the competence of the 21st century.

BACKGROUND

Every person has ways of thinking and behaving that he/she prefers and that are typical of him/her. They are an expression of individual uniqueness and the best prerequisite for success in the job and cooperation with others.

The way we align our personal and professional success strategies in life, the way we approach challenges and problem solving, how we communicate with ourselves and others is marked by the way of thinking we prefer to think.

According to modern studies, the success of executives depends up to 90% on the personal and social skills of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)!

The knowledge about this competence appeals to people who want to improve their self-management, who want to be more independent of internal or external circumstances and are willing to improve their emotional competences. Within emotional intelligence, a distinction is made between the intrapersonal and interpersonal levels.

The instrument INSIGHTS MDI® EQ uses a questionnaire to measure decisive dimensions such as self-perception, self-regulation and self-motivation of people. In addition to this, however, dealing with others with regard to the assessment of one’s own empathy and social competence in general.

CONTENT

The 11-page potential report included in the workshop enables you to start with the right people, train them in the best possible way, enable them to pursue appropriate careers and offer an optimal team environment – a good basis for your company’s success. With the scientifically validated and successfully used diagnostic tools, you gain an insight into the complexity of human development opportunities.

The success of an analysis method is based on its user acceptance. Easily formulated, the questionnaire does not take more than 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The evaluation takes place as a textual and graphical report. In addition to a detailed analysis of the evaluated data, it contains numerous practical tips that can be implemented immediately.

The workshop is led by Ingo Kallenbach (graduate pedagogue), owner and managing director of Reflect GmbH & Co. KG. Since 1995 he has been working as a consultant, coach and trainer in profit and non-profit organisations. His work focuses on strategic personnel development, implementation of new leadership concepts, business coaching and change management.
